IIC4701 Single Term Current Sensing Controller

The Innotech single term current sensing controllers are designed to accept a 4 to 20 milliamp input and to produce a single 0-10V DC control signal output.

The input to the controller can be any temperature, humidity or pressure detector which produces a 4 to 20 milliamp output. The power to the input device can be provided by the controller.

The controller's output can be coupled to auxiliary units such as humidifiers, chilled water valves, damper motors, staging relays and signal selectors which require a 0 to 10V DC control signal.

Models in the IIC4n01 range:

IIC4701 - 4 to 20mA Controller - Direct Acting.
IIC4801 - 4 to 20mA Controller - Reverse Acting.

Voltage: 24V AC ±10% @ 50/60 Hz.
Power Consumption: 2 VA max.

Loop Supply:

24 volts DC current limited to 25 milliamps maximum.

Inputs:

4-20 milliamps DC across 140 ohms to signal common
Reset (0-10V DC)

Outputs:

Detector out (0-10V DC = 0-100% of 4 to 20mA range).
Set Point Out (0-10V DC = 0-100% of 4 to 20mA range).
One 0-10V DC control output.

Terminal Identification:

1 = 24V 25mA DC loop supply for detector.
2 = 4 to 20 milliamp input.
3 = % of input range i.e. 5V DC = 50%.
4 = Reset (0-10V DC).
5 = 12V DC aux. supply.
6 = Set Point Out as % of range.
7 = 0-10V DC Direct Acting output on IIC4701 only.
8 = 0-10V DC Reverse Acting output on IIC4801 only.
9 = Common and 0V AC supply.
10 = 24V AC supply.

Temperature Ratings:

Storage 0 to 50°C non-condensing.
Operating 0 to 40°C non-condensing.

Enclosure:
The IIC4701 is housed in a rectangular case suitable for DIN Rail mounting. The housing is moulded from flame retardant plastics recognised by UL as UL 94-V0.
