ATOM in the 2012 Tropical Innovation Awards

We are proud to announce that ATOM, our data acquisition, analysis and reporting solution, has been accepted into the Tropical Innovation Awards for 2012.

There are three overarching aims of the Tropical Innovation Awards:

• To recognise, reward and support innovation, invention and commercialisation across the Tropical North Queensland region;
• To build economic diversification, sustainability and resilience into the regional economy through the creation of an outward looking business culture built upon opportunities unique to the Australian Tropics; and
• To showcase and brand Tropical North Queensland as the centre of tropical expertise and knowledge for the tropical world in accordance with the Tropical North Queensland Regional Economic Plan.

The Tropical Innovation Awards provide an opportunity for local inventors, innovators and businesses to showcase their inventive and innovative ideas, projects and processes to potential investors, mentors, government officials and the public.

It is an opportunity for applicants to realise the potential commercial value of their invention or innovation and contribute to the export and employment potential of the region.
