Digital / Remote Expansion Modules
The Innotech GenII AI REM Analogue Input Module is a remote expansion device for the Genesis range of Digital Controllers. The module is powered by 24 V AC and provides 6 analogue inputs to be connected to field equipment. Each analogue input has a socket for an Analogue Input Signal Conditioner (AISC) which defines its input type and range selection. Analogue input resolution for the GenII AI REM is 14 bits. The AISCs used are the same as those used on the Genesis Digital Controllers. The GenII AI REM may be located remotely from the Genesis Digital Controller providing distributed analogue inputs for the system. The GenII AI REM is configured and programmed via the Genesis Digital Controller. The GenII AI REM communicates with the Genesis Controller via the REM Comms port. The remote link uses RS-485 at a baud rate of 38400. For pre-Version 5 controllers, a GenII RMI Remote Module Interface is required. Please refer to the GenII RMI Datasheet (DS15.01) for further information.
